Shirley Hardin

Shirley A. Hardin of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the age of 72. Born to the late Houston and Louise Cox, Shirley was a graduate of Valley High School. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed crafts, gardening and going on walks.

Shirley is survived by her loving children, Chris (Cindy) Hardin, Betsy (Keith) Tomes, David (Ann) Hardin Jr. and Andrea Hughes; grandchildren, Jena, Piper, Hailee, Matt, Jacob, Andrew, Tim, Raeann, Zach, Danielle; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Tresa) Cox and her beloved toy poodle, Holly. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David L. Hardin; grandson, Zach; sisters, Janice and Wilma and brothers, Carl, Dwight and Charles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 2 – 8 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40241. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, April 21st at 11 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley’s name to the American Lung Association or the Kentucky Humane Society.
