Evelyn Harlamert

Evelyn F. Harlamert, Beloved wife, sister, sister-in-law and aunt, died peacefully on May 3, 2017 at Rose Anna Hughes Home in Louisville, KY.
Born in Royal Oak, Michigan on October 3, 1924, Evelyn spent her childhood in Louisville. She was one of thirteen children. She graduated from St. Helena Commercial College in Louisville.
Evelyn married her loving and devoted Husband, George, in 1947. The two were married 45 happy years.
Evelyn spent her professional life working for Willett Furniture and Pence Mortgage. She and her husband were members of Salem Evangelical Church. Evelyn enjoyed needlework and was a very talented seamstress.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents William and Rose Fulkerson, three sisters Wallee, Minnie Lee and Rose, and five brothers William, Jack, James, Clarence and Frank.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters Christine, Elizabeth and Becky, her brother Calvin and sister-in-laws Janie, Clara, Joyce and Sharon and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating Evelyn's life will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. with a private family burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 11:00 am Wednesday until service time.
