John Schwab

John David Schwab, 89, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021.  He was born on March 10, 1931 and served in the US Air Force from 1949-1953 and is a Korean War Veteran.  He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Janet, his children, David Byrd (Jo Ann), Tom Byrd (Rita), Lorie Thornberry (James), Kathy Klein (Paul), Jack Schwab (Lynn), daughter-in-law, Jeanne Schwab, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Dave loved golfing, big band music, his dog, Coco, and his UK Wildcats!   He is preceded in death by his son, Michael, sister, Jane and brother, Bud.    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
