Brenda Thompson

Brenda Sue Thompson of Louisville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the age of 64. Brenda worked for Red Roof Inn for 39 years. She was a huge animal lover and enjoyed reading. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Dana (Donnie) Sinkhorn; grandchildren, Keeley Rakes, Danielle and Donnie Sinkhorn IV; sister, Mona (Steve) Kannapel; brother, Mark (Charlotte) Thompson; nieces and nephews, Brian, Dwayne, Jennifer, Melissa, Jessica, Stephen, Michael, Marie, and many more. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Azalea Thompson; her stepmothers, Stella Thompson and Helen Thompson and her beloved dog, Kashmir. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2 – 9 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY 40241. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 24th at 11 am at the funeral home.
