William Skinner

William Skinner, 86, beloved husband of Shirley, passed away peacefully, September 17, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born on July 5, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late John and Anne Skinner.  William was a deacon and a proud member of Beargrass Christian Church in Louisville.  He was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, stamp collecting and loved to dance to swing music with his wife. William was a proud United States Veteran and served 18 months in Korea, after the Korean War.  Besides his wife of 33 years, Shirley, he is survived by his daughters, Ruth Ann Durbin (Jeff), Michelle Bucayu (Michael) and his son, William Craig (Carol), stepdaughters, Cheryl Lynn (Joel) and Paula Bryant, stepson, Christopher Todd Bryant (Linda), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a large extended family and numerous friends.
