Thelma Newton

Thelma Rae Newton, 83, passed away on Friday June 14, 2019 at Baptist Heath.

She was born to the late Archibald Thomas and Nora Ethel (Milliner) Rawlings.  She is also preceded by eight siblings, Lillian “Frances” Wolf, Lawrence “Buck” Rawlings, Charles “Ike” Rawlings, Allan Rawlings, William “Bill” Rawlings, Kenneth Rawlings, Rebecca Stone, and Frank Rawlings.

Thelma was a retired assembler for General Electric.  She loved her grandchildren and one of them could always be found on her lap!

She is survived by children, Terry Newton, Nora Sue Kerr (Kenny), Dawn Michelle Keck (Chuck), Debra Elaine Shaw along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-children.  She will also be missed by siblings Mary Storms (Everett) and Richard Rawlings (Carol).

Funeral services will be held Monday (June 24 ^th ) at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road.  Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 am until time of service.
