Sarah Salyer

Sarah Elizabeth Salyer, passed away on October 30, 2020 at her residence in Louisville.  She was born on August 15, 2007, in Louisville Kentucky, the daughter of Lee (Heather) and April Klein Salyer.  Sarah was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Louisville.  She was the most loving and caring child, that would give anything she could to help others.  She was bright, sassy, athletic, loved animals, swimming, basketball, volleyball and riding bikes.  Sarah had a huge heart for all animals especially horses, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  She will be missed by her parents, Lee (Heather) and April, sisters, Hannah, Lili, Emma, and Alyssa, her brothers, Samuel and Jayden, grandparents, Pat and Gus Klein, Mike and Debbie Jenkins, Wilda Salyer and Barbara and Julio Polio, as well as an endless number of friends and extended family.  After a courageous and long battle with depression, Sarah took her own life when the pain became unbearable.  The family pleads for anyone suffering from mental illness to reach out for help, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
