Robert "Bobby" Mitchell

Robert “Bobby” Mitchell, 70 , husband of Sonia Williams Mitchell, died Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.  Bobby was born January 11, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Louise Whatley Mitchell Harris and the Late Johnny Mitchell. He retired from Ford after 30 years working in Louisville and mostly in Lorain, Ohio.

Besides his wife of 48 years and his mother he leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Michelle Sutton, Tiffine Mitchell, Tara Mitchell (Zack) and Sonia Berger (Lamar), sons, Robert Sutton and Robert L. Mitchell II (Kesha), sisters, Geraldine Berrett, Delores Knight and Kathleen Hipps, brothers, John Mitchell, Ivory Mitchell, Tyrone Mitchell and Willie Harris. 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive.  He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Willie Harris Sr.

A service celebrating Bobby’s life will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM Saturday until service time.
