Neal "Mountain" Leezer

Neal “Mountain” Leezer, 60, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was born July 5, 1958, the son of Arvin N. Leezer and Anne Neal Wheeler. Mountain was a lifelong truck driver having hauled for many companies throughout his career. He was a member of the LaGrange Assembly of God Church, The Seventh Sons Motorcycle Club and the National Street Rod Association.

Besides his parents he leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Ashley Dawn Leezer Lindsey (Brent); sisters, Wendy Smilie (Terry), Nancy West (Jim) and Natalie Gernert (Pat); brothers, Steve Powell (Cindy), Tommy Barnes and Bill Nichols; grandchildren, Breely & Gage, Isaiah, Ella & Kyleigh; nieces, Rebekkah (Elizabeth), Jessica (Collin) and Sarah (John). Several other family and extended family survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vasco & Nancy Neal and Emmett & Genrose Leezer.

A service celebrating Mountain’s life will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2019 at LaGrange Assembly of God Church, 2109 W. Hwy. 146, Lagrange, Ky. 40031. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of service.
