Michael Johnson

Michael E. Johnson, 62, husband of Debra Hendrix Johnson, left this life on July 27, 2015, to join his heavenly father. Michael was born in Mason City, Iowa December 23, 1952 to the late Eugene & Virginia Mae Matson Johnson. He was a retired Sr. Electrical Engineer with CVR Energy and had also been affiliated with Oxy Chemical. He was a member of Buechel Park Baptist Church and was a Vietnam War Veteran having served as a Sargeant in the U.S. Air Force.
Besides his wife of 43 years he leaves to cherish his memory, 1 daughter, Jennifer Dempsie (Brian), 2 sons, Cameron Johnson (Stephanie) and Aaron Johnson (Pamela), 3 sisters, Linda Bowers, Gloria Kibbe, Margaret Doll, 2 brothers, Joseph and Franklin Johnson. 10 grandchildren, Brandi Ploeger, Andy Dempsie, Lexy Zambrana, Mason Johnson, Annabelle Johnson, Ashton Johnson, Trenton Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Collin Johnson and Savannah Johnson, 2 great grandchildren, Malik Ploeger and Haysen Ploeger also survive along with many cherished and loved family and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Gene Johnson and Debbie Pierce.
