Mary Kistner

September 12, 1945 — June 18, 2017

Mary Kistner, 71, wife of Michael Kistner, died peacefully on June 18th, 2017 at her residence after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio September 12, 1945 to the late William and Mary Jean Eggers. Mary is a member of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church in Pewee Valley and had also been an avid tennis player, being a member of the Louisville Indoor Racquet Club. She had been an administrative assistant at Proctor & Gamble for several years before devoting her life to her husband and 4 daughters. She cherished her 10 grandchildren who adored her.

Besides her husband of 50 years, she leaves to cherish her memory, Daughters, Lisa Nicheols(Jeremy), Holly Bliss(Steve), Tracy Perry(Michael), and Katie Johnson(Todd), grandchildren, Logan, Samantha, Brennan, Clay, Ashley, Nathan, Karlee, Gavin, Chloe, and Carson. Brother, William Eggers, Sisters-in-law, Eileen Kistner and Pat Truesdell(Tim).

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mary's caregiver, Mary Posey, and to Dr. LaRocca, Dr. Sun, and PA Ladale Simpson at Norton Cancer Institute.

Funeral Mass will be held 10 am Friday, June 23, 2017 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East 11601 Ballardsville Rd.
