Marcelline Gambill, of LaGrange, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. She was born on August 1, 1936, to the late John and Margie Harp. Marcelline now joins her beloved husband, Harry Gambill, in heaven, reunited with the love of her life.
Marcelline was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who lived her life with joy and warmth. She was blessed with a loving family, including her children Monte Gambill (Catherine), Marlene Dempley (Larry), and Debbie Cays (Earnie), who carry on her legacy of love and family unity. She is also survived by her siblings, Sonny Harp, Jerry Harp (Joyce), Tony Harp (Sue), and Linda Miller (Mike).
As a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, Marcelline’s love reached through generations. She was blessed with six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her boundless love.
Marcelline had a passion for travel and the art of crochet, creating beautiful memories and keepsakes for her family. Known for her outgoing personality and social nature, Marcelline brought family and friends together, especially for holiday gatherings, where her warmth and laughter filled the room.
Marcelline’s burial will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, and she will be remembered as a devoted family matriarch, an adventurous spirit, and a beloved friend to many.
