Lynnden Maree Star Bray

Lynnden Maree Star Bray, 24, left this life on July 14, 2023.  She was born on February 10, 1999, to Kandy Rea Bray and Brian Allen Willis, in Louisville, Kentucky. Lynnden, or “Lindy Lou Who”, was a free spirit on her journey to find something greater than herself.

The world will suffer the loss of Lynnden’s artwork, drawings, and her special way with words as reflected in her writings.  Lynnden had an enormous and compassionate heart and was always kind to those in need; and her compassion to help others was unwavering. She was a beautiful blessing to her family, always helping her grandparents and putting a smile on their faces.  Her passion and love for animals, caring for others, and her tendency to be stubborn will be greatly missed by all that knew her. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Kandy Rea Bray and Brian Allen Willis; her siblings, Ashton and Jasper; her grandparents, Maria and Jerry Shepherd (DeeDee and Poppy) and William Bray; her aunts, Sara (Alex) and Connie; her uncles, Dustin (Nikki) and Jason (Kim); her cousin, Cheryl; her friend, Becky; and her fur babies, Nala and Kimba.

A private moment of farewell will be shared by Lynnden’s family.  A celebration of Lynnden’s life will be held for friends and family at a later date, details will be shared on social media.

Memorial contributions may be made in the form of donations to the GoFundMe page, as the family will select charities to honor in Lynnden’s name.
