Lillie Cleo Smith, 93, wife of the late John G. Smith, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Westport Place in Louisville. Born in Edmondson County, Kentucky December 17, 1919 she is the daughter of the late Charlie & Flossie Cook Brown.
She was a J.C. Penny retiree and at one time had worked at Reynolds Aluminum and the Charlestown Ammunition Depot. She had also been a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Linda Mann (Logan) and Debby Halstead (Ed). 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive.
At the time of her husbands death in 2003 they had been married for 66 years.
A private burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens East is planned.

Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East is in charge of arrangements.
