Laura Carey Armstrong, 88, wife of the late Ambrose Carey and Hubert Armstrong, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Hosparus Care Center. She was born in Jefferson Co. June 3, 1925 the daughter of the late Samuel & Grace Montgomery Good.
Laura was retired from General Electric and was a member of Cedar Springs Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet Baker (Kenneth), sons, Jerry Carey (Martha) and Charles Carey (Joyce), step-daughter, Nancy Davidson (Bill) and 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Good.
A private burial is planned at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home East is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to Hosparus.
