Jessie Nation

Jessie Ray Nation of Simpsonville, Kentucky passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 76. One of Jessie’s favorite things to do was work in his garden. He adored his dog, Daisy Mae. Jessie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Donna Nation (Speer); daughter, Theresa (Joe) Payton; sisters, Mary Keeling, Barbara Jenkins, Wanda Nation; brother, James (Mary Frances) Nation; grandchildren, Jessie & Alexandria; bonus granddaughters, LaTawnja and Elizabeth; and bonus great-grandchildren, Kylee, Christopher, Zackery and Zayden. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 11 am until Funeral Service at 1 pm, all at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40241. Burial to immediately follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
