Jasper Walls

Jasper Harrison "Buddy" Walls, 79, husband of Marlene Schmidt Walls, died Wednesday August 9, 2017 at Baptist Health in LaGrange.
Jasper was born in Bloomfield Kentucky June 6th 1938, the son of the late Beulah Ray Walls and Arthur Vernice Walls.
Jasper retired from United Catalyis/ Sud-Chemie Inc. after 38 years, he served as chief union steward working with Teamsters Local Union 89. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era.
He had a passion and talent for Bluegrass Music, which he enjoyed playing all his life. He played the guitar but his favorite was the 5 string banjo.
He was preceded in the death by a daughter Connie Jean Walls, sister Alma Fay Walls and niece Loretta Brook Walls.
Besides his wife of 57 year, he leaves to cherish his memory daughter Cathy Ann Clark (Rusty), sister, Virginia Lee Fogle, brother, Arthur Ray Walls (Gina),three Grandsons which he loved dearly and influenced with his musical talent, Trevor Jordon Clark, Taylor Alan Clark and Travis Austin Clark (Courtney). He also leaves behind two nephews Michael Wayne Walls (Sue) and Jared Ray Walls.
A service celebrating Buddy's life will be held 11:00 am Monday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 on Sunday and from 9 til service time on Monday. The family has requested that friends and family take part in the service by sharing their favorite stories and memories of Buddy. Serving as casketbearers will be, Russell Clark, Trevor Clark, Taylor Clark, Travis Clark, Michael Walls and Jared Walls
