Jason Maddox

James A. Maddox, 35, formerly of LaGrange, Ky., passed away July 6, 2015 after a brief illness. He is the beloved son of Jerry and Debbie Maddox of Prospect, Ky. Jason was born on September 6, 1979. He attended Oldham County High School and graduated from the University of Louisville where he studied Information Systems and Technology.
Jason's love of technology began at an early age. He received his first computer at 12 and learned quickly how it operated and how to build new systems. This interest evolved into a lifelong career of building and managing complex network systems.
Jason's other passion was the water. He was an avid swimmer and boater, he grew up loving all the lakes in Kentucky, especially Rough River spending many summers aboard the family cruiser, "The Castaway".
Jason's first car was a Fiero and his passion for them continued throughout his life. His latest acquisition was a mint condition 1987 Fiero.
Jason chose cremation as his final disposition. A private celebration of his life will be held with his family who loved him so much.
