James "Jim" Schook

James “Jim” Schook, 69, husband of Diana Crawford Schook, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at his residence. Jim was born in Louisville April 19, 1950 the son of the late Herman & Mildred O’Hare Schook. Jim retired after 35 years as a driver for UPS and was a member of the Southeast Christian Church Crestwood Campus, Teamsters Local #89 and the LaGrange American Legion. He was also a U.S. Veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Air Force.

Besides his wife of 45 years he leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Cory Pohlman (Adam) and Shelby Schook, sisters, Mary Catherine Blasi and Judy Nix, brothers, Joe, John, Jerry and Michael, and 4 grandchildren, Kaiya & Lula Pohlman and Sophia & Ellia Delgado.

A service celebrating Jim's life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, November 16th from 11:00 AM until service time.
