Herbert Johnson

Johnson, Herbert C. Jr.,94, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Forum at Brookside.Born in Burgin, KY, he was a U.S. Army Air Corps World War II veteran, and retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass. He was a Mason, Kosair Shriner, and a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church. Herbert was a joyful person, and had a good life which he lived to the fullest.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneva Crowe.Herbert is survived by his wife, Elsie Johnson; children, Gary Johnson (Claudia) and Nan Crossgrove Tighe (David); stepchildren, Cheri Wallace and Sheila Fowler (Shelton Fowler III); grandchildren, Jake and Sam Johnson and Madeline Tighe; and stepgrandchildren, Christie Sutton, Kelly Coty, Chelsea and Alexander Langub, and Shelton Fowler IV. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
