Hazel Been

Been, Hazel,85, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Baptist East Hospital. She was a longtime member of Middletown Baptist Church. Mrs. Been was preceded in death by her husband, Eron Been; son, Rick; her parents; and her sister. She is survived by her sons, Steve, David and his wife, Lynn, Doug and special friend, Tom Roberson; sister, Laura Been; grandchildren, Eric, Eron, Zach, Adam, Mackenzie and Nick; nephews, Mike and Tim Holtz and Jeff and Scott Been.Hazel's strong faith in God, her family and dear friends were the most important things to her. Her strength, compassion and caring for others were an inspiration to all who knew her. Every life she touched she made better.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Middletown Baptist Church, 11721 Main St., Middletown, KY.
