Georgetta Farris

FARRIS, GEORGETTA CARTER, 75, passed away peacefully Monday, December 16, 2013, at Elmcroft of Valley Farms in Valley Station. She was a retired manager at the Jefferson County Clerk's Office where she worked for over 21 years. She was a member of Westport Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Carter; her brothers, Albert B., Arthur B., and Andrew B. Carter; and her sister, Vivian Carter Whitworth. She is survived by her husband, Robert T. Farris; her sister, Phyllis Carter Ramey (Sheldon); 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
