Edwin Epperson

Edwin Keith “Ed” Epperson, 77, of Louisville, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1941 in Pikeville, Ky. the son of the late Ernest & Mary Sprowl Epperson. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired as a machinist with Naval Ordinance and had been a blueprint drafter and also a scuba diver in Key West and worked on the Ohio River diving at McAlpin Locks. He also worked with the Army Corps of Engineers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Barbara Epperson, Kristina Castle and Hugh Epperson (Staci), brother, Bob Boden (Sue), grandchildren, Billy, Jennifer, Branden, Amber, Josh, Kelly, Amanda and Anthony, great grandchildren, Jackson, Tyler, Conner, Gabriel, Kaitlyn, Zoe, Chloe, James, Eve and Ava.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Keith Epperson and one great grandson, William “Wil” Scott.
