Dorothy Murphy

Dorothy Jean Murphy of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 75. Dorothy had a heart of gold and was a caregiver to many over the years. She was an avid fan of soap operas, especially Days of Our Lives. Dorothy was loved and cherished by all of her family and will be deeply missed.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Danny (Kari) Murphy; her daughter, Vickie Murphy; grandchildren, Sebrina, James, Dean, Kelsey, Zack, Brittany, Savannah, Scott, Amanda and Bryana; many great-grandchildren; sister, Emma and brother, Billy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estil Ray Murphy; son, Jerry Ulery; sisters, Carolyn and Linda and parents, Thomas and Daisy Ulery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 11 am until the Funeral Service at 2 pm, all at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40241.
