With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donna Kathleen Werner, who departed this world peacefully on April 6, 2023, at the age of 65.
Donna was born on November 26, 1957 in Riverside California, and from the start, she was a beacon of adventure and curiosity. Her life's journey took her to many states, each becoming a chapter in her story of exploration and joy.
In May of 2014, at the young age of 54, Donna achieved a significant life goal by graduating from the Lansdale School of Business with an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. This accomplishment stood as a testament to her belief in lifelong learning and her dedication to helping others.
Donna's legacy is carried on by her devoted daughter, Sonya Werner, and her son-in-law, Billy Bryant; her sister, Sherri Wasserzug, and brother-in-law, Alex Wasserzug; her niece, Jennifer Wasserzug Rice; her nephews, Nicholas (Angela), Dominic (Tonya), and Julian (Alexandra) Wasserzug; her great-nieces, Madelyn, Karly, and Summer; and great-nephews, Vincent and Maximilian.
She was preceded in passing by her husband, Howard G. Kniffen; her mother, Eva LaVerne Phillips; and her father, Gregory Wayne Phillips.
The family warmly invites those whose lives were touched by Donna to attend a celebration of her life at the Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25th, at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna's honor may be made to the National Save The Sea Turtle Foundation.
With a heart full of joy and a spirit unbound by the ordinary, Donna's influence will forever resonate in the stories we share and the laughter that follows. She will be profoundly missed but eternally remembered.
