David Howell George, a beloved husband, father and friend, died unexpectedly on June 30, 2016 at the age of 64 in LaGrange, KY.
David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia (Donohue) George; his children, Mary (George) Skinner and Stephanie George; son-in-law Dan Skinner. He is predeceased by his brothers, Richard W. George and William F. George; his mother Ruth (Howell) George and father Richard P. George.
David was born in Arlington, Virginia on June 29, 1952. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1974 with a degree in Business Administration. On January 17, 1976 he married Patricia in Aurora, Colorado at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church. On March 28, 1979 and May 9, 1981 respectively, he welcomed his two beautiful daughters, who were the most important part of his life. He retired from Vivid Impact in Louisville, KY in 2015 where he was a Customer Service Manager.
David was a devoted father and an avid soccer fan and coach. He was an assistant coach for the Ballard High School Girls Soccer team for 8 years, coaching both of his daughters. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family, visiting multiple states in his camper and truck. He enjoyed working in his yard in LaGrange, KY and watching local and regional sports teams, especially the University of Louisville and the Denver Broncos.
