Daniel Roland Blanchard, the loving husband of Lisa, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021, at Jewish Hospital. He was born on November 30, 1957, in Concord, New Hampshire. Son of the late Wayne and Virginia Blanchard. Besides his loving wife, Lisa, he is survived by his mother, Virginia; daughters, Haleigh (Vontez), Hannah and Erin; sons, Jeffery (Dendra), Jonathan, Matthew (Jennifer), Timothy, Andrew, and Nicholas; sister, Deb Lawrence, his brother, Wayne Blanchard (Shirley); and 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
He graduated from Merrimack Valley High School in Concord, New Hampshire, and went on to attend Ohio Valley University in Parkersburg, West Virginia where he earned an Associates Degree in Music Education. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Theology from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, and earned a Master of Education degree in counseling psychology from the University of Louisville. He was later certified as a pastoral counselor and led a faith-based practice in marriage & family counseling. He recently authored a book on finding abundant life through relationships. Dan cherished family and devoted his life and love to his wife and children. He was a leader, teacher, minister, writer, listener, encourager, and everyone’s friend. He brought others together through words, music, good humor, and great fellowship. He is and will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched, supported, and cared for.
