Clarence Howell

Clarence L. Howell, 93, husband of Evelyn D. Williams Howell, died Thursday January 16, 2014 at Horizon Bay Louisville. Born in Louisville September 3, 1920 he is the son of the late Isaac N. & Meade Clarkston Howell.
Mr. Howell was raised at Woodcock Hall on Frankfort Ave. until the age of 16 and was a member of North East Christian Church. He had also served as a civil servant at Pearl Harbor during World War II and was a retired pipe coverer with Asbestos Workers Local #51.
Besides his wife of 67 years he is survived by his 3 children, Gay Allen (Charlie), Patty Price (Scotty) Mark Howell (Susan), and grandchildren, Kelli Price, Lindsay McAuliffe (Jeff) and Ross Howell. 3 great grandchildren also survive.
A service celebrating Clarence's life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday January 18, 2014 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Visitation will be from 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home until service time.
