Cheri Mattingly

Cheri Lynette Mattingly, 51, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2021, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born on September 7, 1969, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Susan Tedder and the late William Schneider. Cheri was a sweet and giving person, spoke softly and was the best friend you could have ever had. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Susan, daughter, Abby Mattingly, son, Zachary Mattingly (Jordan Creel), her significant other, Rick DeWeese, father of her children, Troy Mattingly, sisters, Stacie Richards, Jessica Tedder (Palmer Cole), Sheila Schneider, brother, James Tedder (Gina) and BJ Schneider, grandchildren, Layla Mattingly and Benjamin Rivera, uncles and Aunts, Bill and  Debbie Goff and Donnie and Sue Letcher and a large extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her father, William Schneider and her stepfather, Marshall Tedder, infant sister, Kimberly Schneider, grandparents, Ernie and Ruby Schneider and Gaylord and Margie Letcher, uncle and aunt, Butch and Martha Hinton.  Cheri's gift of organ donation has given the gift of life to others.
