Bill Hackensmith, 70, husband of Kathy West Hackensmith, died Thursday November 7, 2013 at Baptist Health Louisville. Born in Columbus, Ohio December 24, 1942 he is the son of the late William F. & Thelma Hennis Hackensmith Sr.
Bill was a Technical Representative with Preco Metals and a member of Northeast Christian Church.
Besides his wife of 51 years he is survived by his children, Sherry Beasley, Mindy Kroll (Joe) and Bill Hackensmith (Trina). His sister, Virginia Toth, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
A service celebrating Bill's life will be held 1:00pm Monday November 11 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Visitation will be from 10:00am Monday at the funeral home until service time.
