August Bierman

Bierman, August Leslie "Les",84, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Baptist Health Louisville Hospital with his family by his side. Les was a retired service advisor for Monarch Lincoln Mercury, a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and UK Basketball's #1 Fan! He was preceded in death by his brother, James Bierman; sisters, Catherine Rhea and Evelyn Rose. Les is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jeroline "Jeri" Bierman; sons, Michael Bierman (Janet), Donald Bierman, David Bierman; daughter, Melissa Griffin (Randy); sister, Helen Kaiser; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews, he also leaves behind his loving cat, Smokey. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery to follow.
