Alice "Katie" Evans

Alice “Katie” Evans, 93, wife of the late Gilbert Wayne “Wig” Evans, died Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born in, Illinois October 18, 1925 the daughter of the late Arnold & Mary Jackson. Katie retired from Eastern High School, was a member of the Eastwood United Methodist Church and the Eastwood Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  She and her husband were also involved with the Crusade for Children for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, grandson, Kevin Wayne Shuck (Jessica) and 3 great grandchildren, Katelyn, Madeline and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl Shuck and son-in-law Larry Shuck, grandson, Larry “Bubby” Shuck and her brother, Buster Jackson.
